Animal Care & Adoption Staff are a core part of lifesaving at Hill Country Humane Society. This role blends hands-on animal care with public interaction and adoption support, playing a direct role in helping animals move from shelter to home.​

This position is active and fast-paced. Daily responsibilities include animal care, cleaning and sanitation, enrichment, dog handling, and working with the public during meet-and-greets and adoptions. Staff help guide adopters, answer questions, and support thoughtful, successful matches.​
